The heat is produced like a car cig lighter with resistance coils. When the top of the lighter is pushed down the USB connector for recharging the internal battery is revealed. Yanko also says there is some flash memory inside so you can charge your lighter and save files at the same time. I guess the design aims for a little retro style too since it has one of those spinning thingy’s that is used on normal lighters. If the thought of a lighter with flash storage inside gets you all excited, check out the Memlite.
